Payroll Specialist - Ballymount
Responsibilities
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly payroll files for various EMEA countries
• Accuracy and knowledge of all payroll data inputs, including new hires, leavers, transfers, salary changes, expenses, changes to employee data, and all other payroll transactions
• Processing country-specific tax relief applications and registrations
• Ensuring all staff are registered in the required jurisdiction and updating related trackers
• Review and peer check the Preliminary Payroll Reports from the Payroll Providers (variances & calculations where applicable) before approving for Payment.
• Ensure compliance and knowledge with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
• Be the primary point of contact for employees who have payroll queries
• Manage monthly expense claims forms
• Perform regular audits
Requirements
• Familiar with EMEA and or Global payrolls is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills, ability to forge strong relationships with payroll providers
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment as well as experience with inter-company and multi-currency transactions
• Willingness to work collectively, helping your teammates out during any quieter periods
• Organised, resilient and a self-starter
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
