Salary: HSE Principal Psychologist Scale (€114,961 – €133,271 LSI)
Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with a leading provider of specialist disability services, supporting more than 1,900 children and adults across 170+ locations in the greater Dublin area, are seeking a Principal Psychologist Manager for their Adult Clinical Services.
The Principal Psychologist Manager will lead and develop psychology services within our Adult Clinical Services Directorate. This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape service delivery, support complex clinical work, and drive innovation across a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
The Principal Psychologist Manager will provide clinical governance, strategic leadership, and operational management for psychology services across adult disability settings. The role includes overseeing multiple psychology teams, delivering high-quality, evidence-based supports, and carrying a defined clinical caseload.
Key priorities include service development, multidisciplinary collaboration, staff supervision, resource management, and ensuring equitable access to specialist psychological supports (e.g., ASD, MHID, Dementia, PBS).

Essential Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology that qualifies for employment within Adult Disability services (as per HSE/Dept. of Health).
- Eligible for registration with PSI, HCPC, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a Senior Psychologist in Adult Disability services.
- Significant experience working with adults with intellectual disability, autism, dementia, and mental health needs.
- Proven leadership and service-management experience.
Desirable
- Experience in governance, service development, and budget management.
- Specialist expertise in areas such as ASD, MHID, Dementia, or Positive Behaviour Support.
