Project Lead – Digital Transformation
We are seeking a Project Lead to manage the rollout of the Shop Floor Integration Layer (SIL) program using the Ignition platform across multiple sites. This mid-level role will coordinate site-specific implementations, ensuring smooth integration, risk management, and timely progress in alignment with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans for each site, including timelines, milestones, and resources, customized to local needs.
- Collaborate with site PMs to adapt plans and address site-specific challenges.
- Track progress through daily/weekly updates using MS Teams and Ignition reports.
- Provide weekly updates to global teams on progress, risks, and integration metrics.
- Manage scope changes, assessing impact on timelines and system integrity.
- Quickly escalate technical or integration issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- Coordinate with global teams for support on expertise, resources, or funding.
- Create and document standards for shop floor integration, ensuring consistency across sites.
- Gather site-specific requirements via consultations, workshops, and surveys.
- Drive implementation forward by staying connected to site realities, solving problems as they arise.
- Travel up to 50% to EU and global sites for on-the-ground support.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in project engineering or management, ideally with a background in automation, SCADA/MES, or industrial automation (Ignition).
- Experience working in the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with a focus on detail and execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive practical solutions.
- Fluency in English, with a preference for candidates located in the EU for better alignment with operational time zones.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to various sites.
