Project Manager.
Location : Remote anywhere from Republic of Ireland
Working Hours : 39 hours (8.30-5.30 M-T & 8.30-3.15 F)
Leaves : 25 days /Annum
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be mid-career, with experience of the IT industry, possess strong customer facing capabilities, a proven ability to analyse customer business and technical requirements, with project management skills and experience.
The Project Manager will be an integral contributor, working within and promoting the Company Values –be brave, be wise, be proud and exceed. They will be required to be flexible in their working and adaptable to a range of activities in any given day.
Key Responsibilities
Working within one of our teams, you will be responsible for project implementation from pre -sales customer engagement through to successful project delivery in relation to services designed and developed from our Technology Centre. You will be required to:
• Gain experience and deep understanding of our services, functional capabilities and
the domain they operate in, and apply that expertise to the customer’s business and
technical requirements and processes.
• Support pre -sales activities including services presentations and demonstrations in
co-ordination with sales.
• Perform business requirement gathering/analysis and project management through
to delivery, completed whilst using PM best practices.
• Maintain project documentation (milestones, issue logs etc).
• Create statement of work, standard operating procedures and internal cost documentation as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, or equivalent
• PMP / Prince 2 qualified
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a project management role in the IT industry
• Experience of all project management knowledge areas, particularly customer
engagement, scope/time & risk management, budget/costing, communication &
quality
• Strong working knowledge of PMP or PRINCE 2 and practical experience of same
• Strong competency in MS Office tools and project management applications
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and teamwork skills
• Enthusiasm for new challenges
• Excellent command of the English language - strong verbal and written skills
Desirable Skills
• Full SDLC experience & familiarity with agile methodology
• Experience of implementing PM best practices in terms of software engineering and
customer interaction
