Project Readiness Lead
A leadership role responsible for organising and controlling all Project Readiness activities for large retrofits and new line introductions. Ensures cross-functional readiness plans, timelines, and resources are developed and executed to enable successful, compliant project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Project Readiness deliverables for medium to large projects involving new or existing equipment.
- Coordinate the cross-functional Project Readiness team and maintain clear communication with the main Project Leader/Sponsor.
- Develop, track, and support project budgets, timelines, resource plans, and readiness milestones.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks or roadblocks to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
- Prepare and present options to management, customers, and stakeholders as required.
- Apply strong technical writing skills to generate accurate documentation, procedures, and reports.
- Use project management tools such as Microsoft Project and FPX to monitor and control delivery.
- Adhere to all JJVC Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience managing readiness activities or project coordination for medium–large scale technical or equipment-based projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence and escalate appropriately.
- Proven ability to identify risks, propose mitigations, and maintain delivery against key milestones.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, FPX) and formal planning methodologies.
- Strong technical writing capability for generating clear, compliant documentation and reports.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
