Cpl Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of our new Adult ID sector client for a Quality, Safety & Compliance Lead. This is a key leadership role within a growing rights-based organisation delivering person-centred residential services.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s Quality, Safety, Governance and Regulatory Compliance framework. A significant initial responsibility will include supporting the organisation’s first HIQA registration for new residential services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with HIQA, HSA and all relevant legislation.
• Lead initial HIQA registration and ongoing regulatory engagement.
• Implement a service-wide quality and safety framework.
• Oversee incidents, audits, investigations and risk management.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and operational guidance.
• Support residential managers with on-site quality and compliance matters.
• Deliver training on quality, safeguarding, incident management and standards.
• Establish KPIs, analyse data and produce quality and safety reports.
• Promote continuous improvement and a culture of learning.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Quality, Compliance or Risk roles within regulated health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation.
• Experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams and driving change.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, Health & Social Care, Quality, OHS or related fields.
• Experience in audits, QI projects or staff training is desirable.
