My client, based in North Dublin (D5), is seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist / Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position offering €15.15 per hour, working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 8.00am and 4.30pm, across 7 days.
Job Purpose
To provide a professional, welcoming front-of-house service while delivering efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers
- Manage a busy telephone switchboard, directing calls accurately and professionally
- Greet visitors, ensure sign-in procedures are followed, and notify relevant staff
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and professional reception area
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, couriers, and deliveries
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team
- Data entry, filing, scanning, and document management
- Manage meeting room bookings and prepare rooms as required
- Assist with diary management and scheduling
- Order and monitor office supplies
- Support basic reporting and record-keeping tasks
- Adhere to confidentiality and data protection requirements at all times
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be based in, or within commuting distance of North Dublin
- Availability to work 40 hours per week on a rota basis between 8.00am and 4.30pm, over 7 days
