In partnership with our client, CPL HealthCare is now looking to recruit Social Care Assistants/Residential Support Workers in Tipperary.
Our client was founded in 1981 to provide a day service for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Today, the service provides day and residential services to over 120 service users and their families through the work of over 80 staff. Services provided now encompass day services, training programmes, day activation, supported work/employment, and HIQA-registered residential and respite facilities.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- QQI Level 5 Qualification in Health or Social Care.
- 6 months experience in a similar role.
- A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- To contribute in a respectful and positive way to our service user’s well-being and development, treating all individuals availing of our service with dignity and respect.
- To assist service user(s) in developing their Person Centred Plan and in achieving their goals.
- To assist the service user(s) to be self-reliant and to foster their level of independence.
- To provide direct practical help, support and guidance to individuals in their activities of daily living.
- Develop community networks and encourage natural circles of support and actively search for opportunities for the person to make personally satisfying contributions through involvement in valued roles in their community.
- Ensure that all accidents/incidents are reported promptly to the line manager.
- To report any concerns you have for the safety and welfare of the service users.
