About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Accountant / Client Accountant to join our team in a hybrid role based in Dublin City Centre. This full-time position is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
You will be responsible for supporting the financial performance management of our Cost Rental Portfolio and the Asset Management Department, preparing insightful financial reports, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with procurement and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for the cost rental portfolio and asset management department.
- Analyse monthly financial/data reports from Lettings and Block Management Agents and compile portfolio-level performance reports.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and track KPIs, including occupancy, arrears, and operating costs.
- Benchmark operational expenses to drive cost efficiencies across the portfolio.
- Prepare monthly Executive Management Team (EMT) reports with narrative and insights.
- Administer purchase orders and invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the Procurement and Accounts Payable teams in resolving PO and invoice queries.
- Collate and analyse data from external stakeholders into portfolio performance reports.
- Produce weekly/monthly reports for internal project reviews and meetings.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies within the finance function.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Previous experience in the residential rental property sector is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in property-related IT systems and reporting tools.
- Experience or understanding of public procurement processes is desirable.
- Highly analytical, solutions-focused, and results-driven.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including the preparation of reports and briefings.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
