Salesforce QA Developer
Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Salesforce QA Developer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, administrators, and business analysts to design and execute effective test plans that support high-quality, scalable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and scripts for Salesforce functionality and integrations
- Perform manual and automated testing across Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
- Validate data integrity, workflows, user interfaces, and automation processes
- Support functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and retest defects
- Ensure full testing coverage for both declarative and programmatic components (Flows, Apex, LWC)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, tools, and documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release readiness activities
- Participate in Salesforce development tasks as part of the development team including the design and build of APEX code and Flows
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of QA experience, with at least 1 year working on Salesforce projects
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, data model, and automation features
- Experience with testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks
- Proficiency in writing and executing SOQL queries for data validation
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Must be based within a commutable distance to Dublin with the relevant Visa in place to start a new role.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing Salesforce Flows, Apex triggers, and API integrations
- Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, App Builder, or QA-focused)
- Experience with CI/CD or test automation tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
