THE POSITION:
This is an exciting career opportunity to work as a Senior Scientist joining the Analytical team of experienced Scientists. As a Senior Analytical Scientist, you will be required to offer your analytical support and input into the method development and validation activities across the manufacturing and formulation development groups. The successful candidate will be required to participate in day-to-day lab activities, including client engagement and data presentation (Phase I to III).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluating data.
- Mentoring and training junior staff.
- Helping maintain the department's GMP systems.
- Performing Technical activities (HPLC, FTIR, UV, Dissolution & KF analysis, NGI, ED, PSD).
- Representing the analytical project progression across other departments and clients to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Operating according to GMP analytical laboratory standards, in compliance with cGMP and all other regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Analytical experience with inhalation products (i.e. nebulisers and dry powder inhalers).
- Experience working within a GMP laboratory/ pharmaceutical development environment.
- Method development and validation experience using HPLC and Empower data acquisition systems.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as and when required by the company to meet client needs.
- You should have a minimum degree level qualification in a relevant science subject (e.g. pharmacy, pharmaceutical or formulation science).
