Senior Financial Accountant – Cork
Our client, a well-established and growing Cork based business, is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team . Operating within a dynamic and evolving environment, the company has recently strengthened its presence in the Irish market and is entering an exciting phase of integration and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial packs
- Manage monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with KPI reporting and the preparation of monthly management reports
- Contribute to monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Support the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Commercially aware with the ability to contribute strategically to financial planning
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
