Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer
Location: Dublin
Work Mode: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week)
Contract: 3–4 Months
Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with 6+ years’ experience, specialising in Razor Pages and modern JavaScript. The ideal profile is someone deeply strong on the front end with a solid understanding (not hands-on development) of ASP.NET MVC. Accessibility experience is a bonus but can be picked up on the job.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality front-end solutions using Razor Pages, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Apply security-by-design principles and ensure front-end code meets GDPR and accessibility standards.
• Optimise web applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold front-end coding best practices.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Mentor and support junior front-end developers.
• Write and maintain functional requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in UI/UX discussions and contribute to improving user experience.
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers and support with troubleshooting when required.
• Maintain consistent graphic standards and branding across the product interface.
• Work effectively within an Agile DevSecOps environment.
• Build and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Use modern frameworks/libraries when required to elevate customer experience.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation processes.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and support for front-end components.
• Build quality prototypes within tight timelines.
• Promote best practices in code reusability and maintainability.
Skills & Requirements:
• 6+ years of strong Front-End Development experience (Senior level).
• Strong hands-on experience with Razor Pages (must-have).
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end standards.
• Experience with accessibility (nice to have, training can be provided).
• Understanding of ASP.NET MVC (no development required, but must understand the pattern).
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is a plus.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of secure software design and best practices.
• Experience with incident, change management, and transition processes.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience working across diverse IT environments and applications.
• IT degree or equivalent professional experience.
