Cpl HR Recruitment is hiring a Senior HR Generalist for a well-known public-service media organisation in South Dublin. Our client is looking for someone with strong HR experience who can support day to day HR work and also help with important change projects.
This role will report to a Divisional Head of HR and act as a trusted partner to managers and employees. This job is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands on HR work, likes building good working relationships, and wants to play a part in the organisation’s ongoing transformation. This is an 18 month fixed term contract. The role is fully onsite during the probation period, and then moves to a hybrid model with two days in the office and three days working from home.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR partner, providing clear, practical advice to managers and employees.
- Deliver hands on HR services across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and compliance.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage employee relations cases with fairness, professionalism, and adherence to Irish employment law.
- Lead or contribute significantly to HR projects that support ongoing organisational transformation.
- Build strong, positive relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Champion a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering broad HR generalist support in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in HR or a related field; CIPD qualification desirable.
- Solid understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Interest in or positive engagement with the Irish language is welcomed.
