Job Title: Senior IT Security Analyst
Location: Dublin 2 /Hybrid
Salary: Up to €80,000 (Neg) + performance bonus (paid in April)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst to join a growing IT Security team. You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats, while helping to strengthen our security posture across Microsoft environments and cloud platforms. This is a hybrid role with collaborative opportunities within a global team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents from SIEM and Microsoft Security tools.
- Lead containment, eradication, and recovery during security breaches.
- Perform threat hunting and vulnerability management across IT systems.
- Contribute to security architecture and IAM initiatives in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
- Administer and optimize security tools, including endpoint protection, SIEM, and malware prevention solutions.
- Develop and maintain SOC processes, documentation, and incident response playbooks.
- Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 7+ years in information security, including SOC or security operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Entra, Purview, Intune), Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and incident response methodologies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001); IEC 62443 preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant professional certifications (CySA+, GSEC, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent).
