Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer required for an R&D medical device company that is based in Dublin West.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead in-house manufacturing engineering activities
2. Develop manufacturing work instructions.
3. Develop test procedures
4. Define manufacturing & test equipment
5. Lead in the development of test Plans
6. Iterate production methods and present opportunities for design enhancements.
7. Troubleshoot new products, working with the engineering functions
8. Champion Design for manufacture/assembly/repair and test.
9. Continually seek to drive / improvements in process design, layout and operational performance.
10. Actively participate as part of a multi-skilled development team to improve efficiency of product build
11. Lead Root cause analysis of engineering problems.
12. Responsible for recording and sharing technical knowledge gained with colleagues.
13. Adhere to design control and risk management policies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years’ experience, preferably in a regulated environment
• Strong Problem Solving Skills
• Hands-on experience building complex medical devices.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks a plus.
• Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) experience a plus.
• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to learn
• Is a self-starter, can manage multiple tasks, and work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate a dynamic, motivated & flexible approach to work with results-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
6 month contract initially with strong likelihood for extension
€40-55/hour DOE
