Senior Physiotherapist ICPOP/Wicklow Community Unit, Glenside road, Wicklow
Senior Grade Physiotherapists required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for a new opportunity in ICPOP/Wicklow Community Unit, Wicklow.
Hours: 35 per week
Job Responsibilities:
• To work as part of an integrated care team across both the community & acute hospital settings
• To be responsible for the provision of a high quality Physiotherapy service in accordance with standards of professional practice
• To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves in line with the objectives of the organization
• To work with the Physiotherapy Managers in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centered physiotherapy service across and between networks in the geographical area.
• To carry out clinical and educational duties as required
• The person appointed to this post will work as a Senior Physiotherapist on the Integrated Care Team for Older Persons.
• The post holder will be taking a lead role in working closely with the MDT in the Hub in the Hospital and Primary Care
• To record metrics and outcomes for the patient and the service and report appropriately to the national programme for Older Persons
To achieve this they will be working with the Integrated Hub patients and will be providing treatment to them on-site at the day hospital, in the persons own home or in another location
The Candidate:
· A recognized qualification as an Physiotherapist with CORU registration
· A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in order to be considered for a senior role
· Experience working in a similar setting, ideally with palliative care / end of life experience
· Experience in neuro / rehab
· Permission to work in Ireland
· Professional approach to work
· Flexibility in work practice
