Power BI Developer - Data Visualisation Specialist

6 month contract - rolling contract €400 per day

Onsite in South Dublin

Senior Data Visualisation Analyst with proven experience in Power BI to join our dynamic analytics team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about turning data into actionable insights, adept at problem-solving, and an excellent communicator across all levels of the business. Prior experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage. This will initially be a 6-month contract rolling contract.

The Role

Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and actionable visualizations.
Collaborate with business users to understand and articulate their data needs and deliver data solutions that support business decision-making.
Communicate complex findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports through rigorous attention to detail and thorough data validation.
Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
Contribute to the development of business cases and support end users in understanding analytical outcomes.
Actively participate in cross-functional projects and workstreams.

The Role:

5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design best practices.
Strong experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
Ability to create detailed and accurate user stories based on stakeholder input.
Excellent communication skills, able to present findings and recommendations to a diverse audience.
Skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional data visualizations and dashboards.
Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and information gathering capabilities.
Experience or understanding of healthcare data and workflows is a plus.
Comfortable working in agile or iterative development environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Economics).
