Position: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Galway (Hybrid)
Type: Contract (12 month)
Important: This role is only open to Stamp 4, EU or Irish citizens
Our client is looking to hire Sr Software Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with top-tier engineering talent to drive continuous integration/delivery, uphold engineering excellence, and deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions.
Your Expertise:
• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer
• Expertise in middle tier Java, RESTful services
• Experience of Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure) advantageous
• Ability to work effectively with product development and systems management
Your Skills & Experience:
• You work independently on complex technical and functional analysis.
• You take ownership of aspects of project or code base
• You contribute to an environment of continuous improvement
• You support test driven development and automation initiatives
• You are experienced with Agile techniques and Jira
• You possess strong attention to detail demonstrated by ability to follow and develop specific, outlined and detailed procedures
• Excellent Java skills are a must
• AWS & Azure skills an advantage
• Very good understanding of design patterns.
