Service Manager – Cork
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead day centre and community-based support services in Cork.
This is a senior operational role with responsibility for people management, service delivery, compliance and quality assurance. The successful candidate will drive high standards, ensure teams are performing effectively, and make full and efficient use of facilities and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and manage staff and volunteers, ensuring clear roles, accountability and strong performance.
- Drive consistently high standards of care through strong systems, supervision and compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently, facilities are fully utilised, and resources are used to maximum effect.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, service development and continuous quality improvement.
- Manage budgets, reporting and operational planning.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support service growth and innovation.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, best practice and continuous improvement.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar management role within a fast-paced care or service environment.
- Strong background in people management, performance management and compliance.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive standards and deliver high-quality services.
- Experience managing budgets and operational reporting.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive, solution-focused and committed to delivering high-quality services.
