Senior Speech and Language Therapist – Acute Neurology, South Dublin
Cpl Healthcare in partnership with a leading acute hospital in South Dublin are recruiting for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to work in a well structured neurology service to work with in-patients with a diverse range of progressive and acute neurological conditions who are under the care of the hospitals Neurologists.
As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide high quality care for communication and swallowing difficulties to patients of the Neurology service as well as comprehensive assessment and interventions including instrumental swallowing and voice examinations.
The Neurology Speech & Language Therapy service also includes an outpatient service for patients who require specialised hospital-based speech and language therapy care.
This opportunity will allow opportunities for close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in the areas of clinical care, education, service development and research.
This position offers the following benefits:
•Competitive salary depending on experience (€63,912 - €75,254)

Candidates interested in the role must have:
· A recognised qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist and ideally current CORU registration or in process of same.
· A minimum of 3 years full time (or equivalent) post qualification experience, including a minimum of one-year full time (or equivalent) recent experience in progressive and acute neurological conditions.
· Evidence of full and independent competence in the management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders
· Evidence of full and independent competence in the management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.
· Full post-graduate competence in adult videofluoroscopy and/or FEES interpretation and reporting.
