Social Care Manager – Children’s Residential Services

Cpl Healthcare is delighted to announce our partnership with a reputable social care provider whose mission is to support young people in reaching their full potential and integrating into the community. Due to continued expansion, we are currently recruiting an experienced Social Care Manager for a permanent position based in Two Mile Borris, Co. Tipperary.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight within a children’s residential service, delivering a direct, high-quality service to young people under the age of 12 in line with the policies, procedures, and care standards set out by our client. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead, develop, and support a dedicated team within a child-centred environment.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care
- Hold, or be enrolled in, a programme leading to a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting
- Minimum of 4 years’ full-time post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting
OR
- A QQI Level 8 qualification in Social Care with 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, HIQA standards, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to provide effective leadership, supervision, and support to a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders
- Full, clean driver’s licence preferred
