Supply Chain Planner / Buyer – Sligo

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner/Buyer to support production planning, material supply, purchasing, and inventory control at a leading nutrition manufacturing facility in Sligo.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MPS/MRP for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Oversee purchasing to ensure materials align with production schedules.
• Coordinate materials and purchasing activities for New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Maintain accurate BOM and Item Master data.
• Serve as primary contact for the distribution centre and liaise with transport partners.
• Manage inventory levels, including cycle counting and KPI performance.
• Schedule deliveries based on warehouse capacity.
• Support operational and supply chain improvement projects.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
• APICS/IPICS/IIPMM qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production planning within manufacturing (short shelf-life products preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills in scheduling, logistics, and purchasing.
• Excellent planning, computer proficiency, communication, and attention to detail
