Our client, a leading technology platform provider is seeking a Support Engineer to join a growing technology operations team within a fast-moving, data-driven environment. This frontline position blends customer support with technical responsibilities, helping ensure the smooth running of modern data and analytics platforms.
In this role, you will handle client queries, troubleshoot system and data issues, monitor daily automated processes, and assist with onboarding and integrations. You’ll work closely with internal engineers and platform specialists, gaining hands-on exposure to cloud technologies, data workflows, and modern support operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for client support requests via email and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot access issues, data discrepancies, and platform errors
- Monitor daily data processes and perform simple SQL checks
- Assist with client onboarding and configuration tasks
- Maintain clear issue logs, documentation, and knowledge base content
Experience & Skills:
- 1–3 years in IT support, helpdesk, or technical operations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic SQL and familiarity with ticketing systems
- Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable learning new technologies
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SaaS or data-driven platforms
- Exposure to cloud technologies or reporting tools
- Knowledge of retail, finance, or ePOS systems
This is a remote role (Ireland-based) with strong support for career progression.
