Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our client a well known MedTech company is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temporary 6 month contract based in East Galway.
A Day in the Life
- Lead full-cycle recruiting activities for Ireland Manufacturing and support elements of strategic talent acquisition projects, processes, and programs to meet business needs
- Support and participate in Early Career recruitment initiatives and related activities
- Conduct phone screenings with prospective candidates to assess suitability before progressing to hiring managers
- Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive and attractive offers to secure top talent
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and provide regular updates to hiring managers on open roles and active candidates
- Act as a team player with a growth mindset, sharing expertise with colleagues and learning from the wider team
- Build and maintain strong, professional, and trusted relationships with business partners
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 1 year’s relevant recruitment experience; experience recruiting high-volume engineering or science roles is desirable
- Experience using Workday Recruit is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence
