 Bruno Ribeiro

No problem. And Gabriel Mamaradlo, Senior Recruitment Consultant for Global Talent.

 Gabriel Mamaradlo

Thank you, Stephen. Love to be here.

 Stephen Molloy

Great to have you, Gabriel. And Johanna Simon, our most recent and wonderful addition to the team. Welcome, Johanna again. Thanks for joining us today.

 Johanna Simon

Thank you, Stephen.

 Stephen Molloy

Great, so we've got some exciting news coming around the corner. Something that I'm very very happy to discuss with you today it’s ‘Global Talent’. This new branding of our team. What does it mean? Where will we be going with this? And what's the potential impact that it could have on the markets that we're dealing with?

Bruno, first of all, why don't you tell me a little bit about Global Talent? What is it? What’s ‘Global Talent’?

 Bruno Ribeiro

Thank you, Stephen. I'll say when we were reflecting and brainstorming about this name change as you said, we were trying to find a term that would represent not only the job that we do in terms of the markets that we are active on but also in terms of the talent pool that we have. The candidates that we are in contact with and the reach that we have when talking about multilingual roles.

That's where the ‘Global’ comes from. It's a reflection of our presence not only here in Ireland, but also in the UK, also in Portugal, in Eastern Europe and Germany, and especially on the future of our activity. We see ourselves growing more, and more for the next couple of years, and this is definitely a representation of that.

When we're talking about talent is mainly about that connection that we do, connecting different talents, different companies, different opportunities, trying to find the perfect match, trying to find how we can assist the journey of those job seekers but also our clients and making sure we are finding the perfect match.

 Stephen Molloy

Fantastic. Thank you, Bruno. Definitely agree with that. Very excited to be part of this new global reach. I think in the world that we're living in, it's becoming more interconnected as we go forward post-Covid, so very delighted that we can still offer that. Wonderful candidate experience and journey on a global scale.

Gabriel, tell me a little bit about our team I suppose. Why don't you tell everybody who's listening what the team consists of and what global talent might mean to them?

 Gabriel Mamaradlo

Thank you, Stephen. So ‘Global Talent’, a team of recruiters. I think we see ourselves as more than just a team of recruiters. We are a very diverse team. We come from different places around the world, different backgrounds, and I think we also pride ourselves in diversity and inclusion. And I think we treat everyone with respect, and equally.

The culture in our team is just very great and I think that is what helps us empathize, also connect and engage, attracting some of our candidates, who are looking to work in different places across the world, and here in Dublin or even anywhere in Germany and Portugal.

I think we pride ourselves in our core values of, you know, diversity, inclusion and you know of course our Cpl values, which are customer focus, accountability, effective communication, respect, empowerment. It drives every business decision that we make, including you know this new global strategy that we're having and expanding across different markets. I think it's our strength and that's how we're going to move forward with this expansion.

 Stephen Molloy

That's brilliant, thanks Gabriel, and I definitely love the fact that you said that you see the team are more than just a team of recruiters, right? I don't think I see any recruiters, just a recruiter. I don't think there's such a thing, so many hats that we wear.

But yes, definitely having a team of 30 recruiters all coming from different multi-cultural backgrounds definitely pushes forward the diversity and inclusion that we still across the board. And the support, the preparation, and the market, insights that we can provide both to candidates and two clients, like is I think second to none, so that's really amazing. Thanks, Gabriel.

 Bruno Ribeiro

If you allow me to jump in, Stephen, on something that Gabriel just said. One of the things and I think one of the main differentials from what we are and the kind of recruiters we are, is that fact.

A lot of us are doing relocate to Ireland from another country, so we understand the journey that our candidates are experiencing, and this speaks to our hearts at the end of the day that we did the same thing.

It's very nice to see at this age where you are recruiting for more than 50 different languages across multiple different entry-level positions, but not only that, and it's the way that we see the job, as Gabriel said, is not only about being a recruiter, it's not about just a team of recruiters.

Sometimes I feel like we are there representing not only the jobs but also Ireland. The experience of living in Ireland. The experience of what can Ireland bring, and now more than ever in Germany, Portugal, UK, it’s also Cpl.

We are there representing the Cpl name across those countries and making sure everybody knows how great it is to work with this company and to work with our clients.

Stephen Molloy

That's absolutely fantastic. And yes, how ‘Global Talent’ can help get us there?

Johanna intro yourself, as well. Welcome again!

Bruno just mentioned about us all having a similar experience in being able to understand where candidates are coming from. You, yourself had a similar type of experience, I suppose, so why don't you tell us what ‘Global Talent’ means to you and how it will affect the markets that you'll be working with?

 Johanna Simon

Thanks, Stephen so much for your very warm welcome.

I can add on to what the others already said, so for me ‘Global Talent’ means, as well. This is actually also the first impression that I personally got from Cpl and what attracted me. So it was the huge nationality, a huge amount of nationalities that are there in the team.

It's really from all over the world, you have to feel everyone for every language for every culture like everyone is there to understand each other. And I think this is also a very good point that global talent has regarding talent acquisition all over the world.

We have someone from every single wonderful Mary, but from almost every country all over the world. People can be approached in their mother language, which is a very huge point because many people feel most comfortable being approached in their mother language.

Then at the same time, since their cultures are all working differently and there's someone there to understand every single one. Let's say you're not really understanding one, but you might understand the other, so I think.

This huge variety of nationalities that we have really helps to expand our image, expanding our company globally. This is also the experience that I had so far and that I had from the beginning when encountering Cpl. Is this huge just diversification, huge simply everything, it's amazing.

 Stephen Molloy

Johanna, thank you very much. That's absolutely amazing. And you're absolutely right. We are such a big team. So many diverse backgrounds and that cultural understanding and awareness is something that I'm so proud of.

Being a part of and it's a very exciting journey, something that global talent is definitely going to bring to the forefront into the table and will drive some really insightful and unique business decisions, I think.

There we have it. Some really wonderful viewpoints from Bruno, Gabriel, and Johanna. Thank you again so much for joining us today.

 Johanna Simon
