Location: South Dublin (Field-based, covering Republic of Ireland & occasional UK travel)

About the Company
Our client is a global leader in the supply of complex medical device equipment to healthcare facilities across Ireland and the UK. They are renowned for innovation, reliability, and exceptional customer support. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their Commercial Operations team based in South Dublin.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical service, installation, maintenance, and support across a range of advanced medical equipment. You will act as the face of the company in healthcare environments—ensuring service excellence, technical resolution, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site and remote technical support, including installation, corrective maintenance, and planned servicing.
- Deliver customer training to ensure safe and effective product use.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data entry within customer service management systems.
- Proactively manage customer relationships, escalating technical or satisfaction concerns where necessary.
- Support commercial growth by identifying service opportunities while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Medical Device Regulations (MDR).
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a technical field service role, ideally within the medical device or related industry,
- OR an ONC/HNC (Level 5) qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong I.T. skills with practical experience in Windows operating systems, networking, and system configuration.
- (CompTIA Network+ certification desirable.)
- Proven track record in high-quality service delivery within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and promote service value.
- Full clean driving licence required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across Ireland and to the UK (up to one week at a time).
