Financial Controller

Our client is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to take full ownership of their finance function.

This is a stand-alone role, ideal for someone who enjoys managing both the transactional and strategic sides of finance and will be a critical part of the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage all day-to-day finance operations: AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.

·      Prepare monthly accounts, financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

·      Process payroll and ensure compliance with Irish tax and statutory requirements.

·      Lead the year-end close and external audit process.

·      Partner with the business to provide financial insights and drive performance.

Requirements:

·      ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.

·      Proven experience managing a full finance function, ideally in an SME.

·      Strong knowledge of Irish accounting, tax, and payroll legislation.

·      Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
