A prestigious financial services company is hiring for an experienced Procurement Specialist
The Senior Procurement Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop solutions to meet stakeholder’s requirements in line with procurement requirements and processes, and deliver value based commercial outcomes.
12 month fixed term contract
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement competitions from initial scoping through to contract award in accordance with the procurement policy and procedures.
- Draft and complete tender and contract documentation to the highest standards, including e- tender
- Collaborate with internal business units and subject matter experts to define procurement requirements and advise on procurement methodologies and risks.
- Implement procurement practices to deliver value for money and reduce risk
- Identify and implement buying strategies through market knowledge and engagement.
- Assist in the development of internal procurement policies and procedures.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a procurement specialist/buyer
- Proven track record in procuring in professional services.
- Proven experience of contract negotiation and contract execution.
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
