Senior Data Management Consultant - Head of Data

Day rate contract - Dublin/Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies.

• Collaborate with business units to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.

• Lead data quality assessments and remediation initiatives.

• Support metadata management and data lineage documentation.

• Provide guidance on data architecture and integration best practices.

• Work with stakeholders to define and monitor data KPIs.

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Skills:

• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks 

• Experience with data quality management, metadata, and master data management.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR,)

• Proficiency in data cataloguing tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).

• Knowledge of data architecture and ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

• SQL and data profiling tools.

• Data lineage tooling experience 

• Understanding of data modelling and BI/reporting tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
