Enterprise Ireland – Solution Architect (Fixed Term Contract to December 2028)
Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government agency responsible for developing and growing Irish enterprises in global markets. Working in partnership with Irish businesses, Enterprise Ireland supports innovation, export growth, regional development, and sustainable employment.
Enterprise Ireland is seeking a Solution Architect to support the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Digital Transformation Programme, delivering a modern Client Relationship Management Solution (CRMS) built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure. The role is central to ensuring a secure, scalable, and future-ready solution aligned with Enterprise Ireland’s digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for the Dynamics 365 CRMS platform.
- Translate and represent the agreed Business Requirements Document (BRD) into robust technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership across design, build, data migration, testing, UAT, go-live, and hypercare phases.
- Guide vendor and internal teams, ensuring adherence to architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Oversee integrations with Enterprise Ireland systems (e.g., Azure AD, SharePoint, finance platforms).
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, and internal data governance standards.
- Maintain requirements traceability and solution documentation (JIRA-based).
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Solution Architect Expert).
- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale CRM solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 essential, Power Platform, and Azure.
- Deep knowledge of architectural patterns, software development methodologies, and best practices.
Desirable
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and complex system integrations.
- Strong understanding of ICT security principles and cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and grants management systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Salary
- Contributory Scale: €81,475 – €100,064 per annum
- (Rising to €103,138 and €106,220 with long service increments)
- Non-Contributory Scale: €78,696 – €95,058 per annum
- (Rising to €97,983 and €100,909 with long service increments)
Entry will be at the minimum of the relevant scale (subject to Government pay policy).
