We are seeking an energetic and adaptable individual to join our team in a very busy, fast-paced office environment. This role is 21 hours per week, with a flexible roster. While the office operates no later than 8:00pm, the successful candidate must be prepared to work a mix of shifts between 9am and 8pm depending on workload and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support in a busy environment.
· Managing society equipment, carrying out repairs and PAT testing with particular emphasis on sound and lights equipment and AV in rooms in Áras na Mac Léinn.
· Maintain a database of society equipment.
· Assist societies with event setup, including handing out equipment and showing users how to operate AV equipment.
· Providing sound equipment and sound engineering for society events
· Rigging theatre lights and operating lighting board.
· Carry out data entry tasks
· Preparing risk assessments for a variety of society activities.
· Use the societies’ IT system (training provided).
· Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Societies Officer.

The ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing workloads, and maintain a positive and professional approach is essential.
Requirements:
1. Strong IT skills and an aptitude for information systems.
2. Technologically orientated and general technical troubleshooting abilities.
3. Experience in electronic engineering and equipment maintenance and repairs.
4. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the use of AV, lighting and sound equipment
5. Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people.
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also taking direction when required.
8. Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
Desirable:
· Drivers License
