Curatorial F
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for a Curatorial F (E01 Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate – £16.45 per/hr
· Location – DfC, PRONI - Records Management, Cataloguing and Access Team
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
· Assisting in the provision of Records Management advice and guidance to Public Authorities.
· Assisting in the appraisal and transfer of records from NI Departments and NI public sector
bodies.
· Contributing to the development and quality assurance of public authority retention and
disposal schedules.
· Coordinating the collection of records from public authority premises, including liaison with
depositing organisations and relevant PRONI colleagues.
· Coordinating and overseeing stock-checking and cataloguing of official records in hardcopy and digital
formats, in accordance with international standards and PRONI policies.
· Providing administrative oversight for the drafting and issuing of warrants for transfer of public records.
· Supporting the public release of records under the Annual Sensitivity Review, including the quality assurance of work undertaken by Aos.
· Adhere to and promote NICS policies and PRONI guidelines on working with sensitive
Information.
· An ability to work independently and but also as part of a team.

Essential Criteria:
1. At least a second-class honours degree in any discipline.
AND
2. At least one of the following:
(i) A recognised post-graduate archival or records/information management qualification e.g Diploma in Archive Administration or an MA in Archive Administration or Records Management or Cultural Heritage
OR
(ii) At least 1 years’ experience in applying archival and/or records/information management principles, policies and practices.
